TEEN REACH


Program Description 

Teen REACH (Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring and Hope) Is a comprehensive youth development initiative  that provides after-school and summer program services to high-risk youth.

Vision Statement

Our vision is that every school-age child and teen in the community’s that we serve will have access to year-round, high quality out-of-school-time care. Each program site will offer a safe, structured place where children and teens have an opportunity to increase their capacity to succeed in school and in life.


After School Program

  • Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Beardstown and Virginia during the school year
  • Includes snacks, homework assistance, tutoring, recreation, life skills, special interest groups, and mentoring
  • Free for youth ages 10 and older. $6 a day for youth under age 10


Day Camp

  • Monday through Friday when school is not in session, including parent conference days, winter break, summer break, and selected holidays
  • Includes academic enrichment, snacks, recreation, life skills and field trips
  • There are no fees for youth 10 and up. A fee of $6 a day for youth under 10
